生意上PO 与 PI的意义
- PO : Purchase Order 客人发给我们的交易确认。
- PI : Proforma Invoice 我们发给客人的交易确认。
- VPO : Vendor Purchase Order 我们发给工厂的交易确认订单。
如果在进步一点点的国家，这些都代表了承诺，所以我们该如何正确的看待这些确认邮件或传真文件呢? 我们看看老美的讲法。
When we have a PO in-hand it is as good as having money in the bank. PO's here in the US are as strong as a binding contract under the law. So if the project is "urgent" or the timeline is "rush", if you have a correct PO you may automatically start production of the Sample.
It may take us a few days to coordinate payment or for the client to mail the payment before production needs to begin. We do not want to hurt the timeline or customer relationship by waiting for payment IF we have a PO in hand.
